Anthea Seles

Anthea joined Artefactual in March 2022, starting off as a Business Analyst in the Project Delivery Team. In July 2023, she became the Project Delivery Manager in the Implementation Team and is responsible for overseeing AtoM and Archivematica implementation projects.

Anthea has worked for a number of organizations in Canada and internationally in strategic and operational delivery. Most notably she was the Digital Records and Transfer Manager at The National Archives (TNA), where she oversaw government digital records transfers coming from departments to TNA, she was also part of a team that began testing the applications of machine learning for sensitivity review and appraisal and selection. Then, in 2018, she was appointed the Secretary General for the International Council on Archives, where she was an advisor to senior administration and coordinated the work of the ICA Secretariat and volunteers.

She is based out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada located on the unceded Indigenous lands of the Kanien'kehá:ka Nation, which is recognized as the custodian of the lands and waters. Tiohtià:ke/Montréal is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations.
