Jesús García Crespo

Jesús is a systems architect with a solid foundation in software design and engineering. Over the years, he has contributed to Artefactual projects, notably Archivematica and AtoM. Beyond his design work, Jesús actively collaborates with other teams, offering guidance to help them build successful products. He genuinely enjoys mentoring emerging developers and seeks to foster best development practices for long-term sustainability.

Jesús resides in Sevilla, Spain, a place known for its beauty and, of course, its heat. For about 4 months each year, he often finds himself reminiscing about cooler climes or even planning escapes from the intense warmth. This desire for a milder environment once took him to Vancouver, BC, where he lived and worked for nearly a decade.
